Sorry adults – Kids Only! This Easter School Holidays, kick ‘em our way and get them making our famous Real Hot Cross Buns. Or perhaps they’d prefer a journey through history, across the globe in our multicultural Breads of the World class. From learning about and baking different cultural breads to creating scrumptious Easter Tea Party treats, they’ll be shaping and baking up a storm in our professional Training Room while you hoard a pile of magazines for reading and order a gut-busting dish of Sourdough Pancakes in our Café.
Our new Breads of the World class will take the budding young baker in your family on a flavour-packed bread-making adventure from the shores of Europe to the deserts of the Middle East. Journey through the history of artisan baking, and learn how to shape, make and combine flavours to create distinct breads from the many wonderful cultures around the world.
A cult favourite, and ever the seasonal delight, kids can also learn how to make our deliciously yummy Real Hot Cross Buns. They’ll be making the Hot Cross Buns from start to finish in our Hot Cross Buns class– from mixing and shaping the dough, to savouring and learning all about the different fresh spices that give our Real Hot Cross Buns their rich aromatic & flavourful character. Easter chocolate cookies are also on the menu. Let’s hope we find that Bunny cookie cutter in time.
