I have long been a fan of a good fruit mince tart. I don’t really like pudding or christmas cake but when it comes to a fine fruit mince tart I cannot say no! Since first sampling Brasserie Bread’s fruit mince tarts my love has grown to greater levels! I have since the beginning of December been eating them for breakfast with my cup of earl grey tea… What will happen for breakfast in January…I will have to go back to muesli?
In the final week leading up to Christmas we would like to give away a gorgeous ribboned box of 6 fruit mince tarts each day starting from Monday 19th December…
The winners will be the first six comments left on our blog (approved ones of course…& not to the same oinky tart lover!). Simply tell us what you think makes a fine fruit mince tart! The first 6 comments approved will win a gift box of our delicious fruit mince tarts…(to be picked up in store before 3pm 24th December).
May the best tart lovers win!… and to make you drool I thought I would display plenty of pictures of the tarts in all their glory!!!

OMG, I tried one of these tarts the other day – Amazing. For me a fine tart consists of balance between the spicy filling and the delicious sweet pastry. Oh and you must be left wanting more even after you are finished.

Oh no need waste tarts on me… I’m in Sydney. Give them to some other lucky Melbournian. Thanks anyway.
Hmm both the pastry & the mince play massive parts:
)
Pastry = lovely & short, not too crumbly or chewy
Mince = not too sweet (or it gets a bit sickly when you eat 2 or 3… Or more
YUM!!
