A launch night to remember

Posted by brasseriemelb on October 19, 2011

There was much planning, inviting, ordering & general organising to be done in the lead up to our big launch and when last Thursday night was upon us we were bouncing around excited in anticipation of the event!  The crew from Sydney had arrived from their ‘Wild Sourdough Road Trip’ with the all important Starter for our head baker Ian to get busy baking with…

Find out more about the ‘Wild Sourdough Road Trip’ by reading the In The Dough blog post and watching the video on our website.

The focus was then on getting the party space whipped into party mode! The night was a wonderful success, there was plenty of industry types, familiar faces, friends and family to help celebrate getting the Brasserie Bread South Melbourne site to where it is today.

Ian our head baker, along with his team, are now elbow deep in test baking and loving it!

Now the next big job is to get the cafe & retail open…our goal is to have the doors open to the public by the 10th November!  So more planning and excitement to be had!
