Wining and Dining at The Winery

Posted by brasseriebread on December 23, 2011

The Winery is a buzzy, trendy eatery on Crown Street, where you’ll find attractive Sydneysiders gulping down wines by the glass and munching on delicious food.

On a lovely, warm Friday evening Keiran, Theresa and Don from Customer Service as well as Jenny, Jeremy and Agata in Sales along with yours truly ventured out to The Winery on a fun-filled Brasserie Bread excursion.

Of course we had to order something featuring our product, and we went with the Toasty Bread with marinated goats cheese, blistered mini vine tomatoes and olive tapenade. I adore the innovative way of presenting our Grande, which would normally be used as a sandwich roll.

Toasted to perfection and cut diagonally, it’s designed so that you can tear off pieces to then spread with olive tapenade or goats cheese. I absolutely loved it! The combination of the juicy tomatoes and the tangy, creamy cheese with the salty olive tapenade on soft bread is just flawless.

Our Brioche Burger Bun stars in the Wagyu Burger. I’ll come back for that one next time :)

Whether you’re after a boozy pop (yes, an icy pole that has booze in it) or a quick nibble to go with your wine or cocktail, The Winery is here to wow you with its delicious food and wine offerings.
