Twenty & Six Espresso

Twenty & Six Espresso opened just over 1 week ago in North Melbourne and is positively fabulous! I walked in and was instantly struck with ‘oh yeah this is going to be good’ kind of feeling… My woman’s intuition was on the money!

Twenty & Six are new wholesale customers of Brasserie Bread Melbourne and are doing truly delicious things with our bread and pastries. The kind of menu that leaves you torn, literally! What to eliminate?…it all sounds so good.

I sat enjoying the cleverly designed space, sipping a delicious latte (they use Proud Mary coffee) and indulging in what is called on the menu ‘Hulk SMASH’…smashed avocado, coriander, mint, hint of chilli, meredith goat’s fetta, ruby red grapefruit & 2 poached eggs on toasted Brasserie Bread Sourdough Batard. I don’t think I looked up from eating it…until it was all gone! See delicious images below…

Sourdough Batard with preserves & Lescure butter

Twenty & Six are using our sourdough batard…quinoa & soya loaf…sour cherry loaf…panini, plaza & 6 seed roll for the daily sandwiches…sweet tarts, friands + our banana bread…croissants & almond croissants. All delivered daily and lovingly served to their customers.

They are open 7 days…Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm…and Saturday/Sunday 8 to 5pm. You will find them at 594 Queensberry Street, North Melbourne.
