Product Overview

Breads - our artisan breads include Organic Sourdough, Italian Rustic, Grains and Spelt and other Specialty Breads. They contain no preservatives, and are based on three basic ingredients: flour, water and salt. The majority of our artisan breads begin with our Starter, a naturally-occurring yeast which gets its flavour from friendly bacterium unique to Brasserie Bread. Our award-winning Organic Sourdough Bread is made exclusively with Australian organic flour and Brasserie Bread's 15 year old Starter.

Pastries - all of our laminated sweet pastry doughs are handmade using traditional French and Danish techniques. Brasserie Bread Brioche, French pastry and Puff pastry are made with the finest butter and contain no preservatives. The leavening in the laminated doughs is derived mainly from the steam generated by the moisture in the butter during baking, making the laminating process critical to quality of the pastry.

Cakes and Patisseries - from slow-poached fresh fruit tarts to chocolate brownies & mince pies, each creation is hand-crafted by our skilled pastry chefs using the freshest seasonal offerings designed to invigorate your palate.

Pane Croccante - a large, flat, crisp bread inspired by the culinary heritage of Italy's Piedmont region. Skillfully prepared by hand and using only natural ingredients, its quality and freshness is guaranteed. The result is a light crisp Pane Croccante, an ideal companion for cheese, pate and wine.
