The Brasserie Bread Italian bread range is now made using ALTO’s beautiful olive oil. We’re using one of their olive oils designed for use in the kitchen – while Robust and Delicate have more pungency and bitterness, making them perfect for dressing salads, this is an olive oil that has a lower flavour profile with a clean-tasting property. As such, it’s perfect for baking artisan breads!
We now make all our Italian breads with ALTO’s olive oil, including our Rustic Loaf, Italian Ciabatta, Schiacciata, Italian sandwich rolls, as well as our new Campi wholemeal roll. We’re huge fans of ALTO, and we were especially impressed when we visited the ALTO olive grove in Crookwell a few years ago. Check out the video of our Wild Sourdough Road Trip at ALTO Olives’ farm.
ALTO’s olive oil is crafted from quality olives and brimming with health benefits and freshness. The flavours are incredible, ranging from stronger flavours like Robust to zingy flavours like Lemon and Mandarin.
